Start with Annual License

Revenue Share costs less until Veblen clears $242,400 a year for you. Above that the Annual License is the cheaper of the two on 1 class, so pick by the volume you expect rather than by the headline number.

Both models include unlimited users and every feature for the classes you license, with email support on a 72 hour response.

Run it yourself, or have it run for you

Self-hosted

Included

The one-command installer stands the stack up on your own server, and the first-boot wizard takes your license key. Your machine, your database, your uptime.

Fully hosted

$249/mo

Added to either model. The deployment is provisioned and operated for you, and it stays the same single-tenant system, your brand, your own database, exportable to your own server any day.

Questions

No. Add fully managed hosting for $249/mo on either model and the deployment is provisioned and operated for you. It stays the same single-tenant system with your own database, and you can export everything and move to your own server at any time.

Client payments Veblen actually collects for your practice through its built-in card and PayPal rails. Invoices you settle elsewhere are not metered. If Veblen clears nothing in a month, Revenue Share costs the base alone.

Because Veblen runs your intake, reports, and payment collection, its incentives should sit on your side of the table. The admins that charge per seat make money when you add staff. Revenue Share makes money when you get paid, and the cap keeps the ceiling in sight.

As many as your practice needs. Users are never metered on either model, staff or clients.

Every account includes email support with a 72 hour response. Priority support ($199/mo) adds a direct line with an 8 hour response, and you can turn it on or off from the billing page.

A new Revenue Share account pays no base for its first 90 days, only the 0.5% share on payments Veblen actually clears. Clear nothing while you move your practice in and you pay nothing. On day 91 the base starts at the rate shown above. The fully hosted and priority support add-ons bill from day one, they run real infrastructure and a real direct line. The admins that charge per seat cannot make this offer, waiving their subscription leaves them earning zero, while the share earns whenever you do.

Standing up your deployment: provisioning, your branding on the site and reports, license issuance, and getting your first appraisals through the system. The Annual License has no setup fee, its number is all-in.

In your deployment's own database. Self-hosted, that database sits on your server. Fully hosted, it sits in a single-tenant stack operated for you, and you can export everything and move to your own server any day. The admin sees version, user counts, and health heartbeats, never your client data.

The ones you pick, and you can add or drop classes any time from the portal. The license names the enabled classes and the deployment follows it on its next refresh.

Because the money each one moves through a practice is about the same. Report fees vary widely, from $50 to $150 on a piece of jewelry up to $650 to $5,000 on an aircraft, but the cadence runs the other way. A jewelry appraiser bills dozens of items a month and an aircraft appraiser bills a couple, and both clear roughly $60,000 a year. Pricing follows that cleared volume, so $30/mo per additional class is the same 0.5% Veblen meters everywhere else. Classes are never priced by how many features sit behind them.

Revenue Share until Veblen clears $1,382,400 a year across all six classes, or $242,400 a year on one, and the Annual License above that. The pricing panel above recalculates the crossover for the classes you pick. Below the crossover the share costs less than the flat fee, above it the flat fee costs less than the share.

Your data stays yours, in your own database, and you can export all of it. The deployment suspends when the subscription ends and comes back when it is reactivated, with everything as you left it.
