Marine vessels
Powerboats, sailboats, personal watercraft, pontoons.
Fields on every file
Marine values swing with season, region, and water history, so you record hull material, engine configuration, length and beam, and whether the vessel ran in salt or fresh water. You attach the marine survey as evidence in its own right, the way the trade already works.
- Hull identification number, length, beam, draft
- Engine hours and configuration
- Hull material and construction
- Salt or fresh water history
- Sea trial and haul-out status
Governing standard
USPAP Standards 7 and 8, with the SAMS survey types
The survey type is the report type in the trade vocabulary, the findings number each deficiency with a severity, and the report states whether a sea trial ran and whether the vessel was hauled.

The finished report
The findings section numbers each deficiency with a severity, and the value section prints fair market value and replacement cost on two separate lines.
Every report prints the cover, letter of transmittal, executive summary, subject identification, assignment and scope of work, condition analysis, methodology, comparable analysis, reconciliation, certification, signature, sources, supporting documents, the legal notice, the appraiser certification appendix, and a verification page whose QR code resolves to the record.
